On September 1st, 2017, The Sydney Law Firm, P.C. was acquired by CunninghamLegal. Jeff Sydney and his wife, Alicia, decided it was the the right time for them to retire and pass the baton to our firm to serve his clients.

After many years of practice, I have decided with my wife, Alicia, that it is time for me to retire. My last day in the office was August 31, 2017. It has been my pleasure and privilege to be of service to you and your family during my career.
I have given thoughtful consideration and have devoted much research to determine to whom I should entrust my practice. This has led me to Jim Cunningham, Jr., a second generation attorney who, like me, has dedicated his career to estate planning and is a California State Bar Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law. I trust that you will enjoy meeting Jim and benefiting from the energy and commitment he and the attorneys on his team will bring to their relationship with you. The Woodland Hills office will continue as a part of CunninghamLegal.
This transition will in no way affect your existing estate plan or trust administration. Jim and I will work together to make this change as seamless and easy for you and your family as possible.
